Can Acupuncture Help Lower High Blood Pressure?

Hypertension means high blood pressure.  Blood pressure is determined by the amount of blood pumped by the heart, size and condition of the arteries.

High blood pressure can be brought down naturally through acupuncture and herbs.

Scandanavian studies show that acupuncture can increase the Heart’s working capacity, reduce angina pain and the need for medication.

Description:  Many factors affect blood pressure, including volume of water in the body; salt content of the body; condition of the kidneys, nervous system, or blood vessels; and levels of various hormones in the body. These conditions can be a product of stress, lifestyle or genes.

Treatment: Acupuncture and herbs can help correct the root condition and bring down blood pressure.  Acupuncture encourages the body to promote natural functioning by sending the body signals so the body can correct its imbalances. The objective is to improve all systems, prevent and treat later complications, correct imbalance, adjust the immune system and boost energy.

Acupuncture on certain points can bring down blood pressure.

*Research shows that acupuncture on ST36 and Du20 was effective in lowering blood pressure on 318 cases of hypertension by one practitioner.

Results:

*72.6% of those cases normalized blood pressure in one week.

*An additional 18.9% normalized within two weeks.

*Only 8.5% had no improvement in blood pressure in two weeks.

**Overall improvement rate was 91.5%!!!!

There is a weak relationship between severity of pain and degree of oxygen deprivation in the heart muscle (i.e., there can be severe pain with little or no risk of a Myocardial infarction (commonly known as a heart attack), and a heart attack can occur without pain). In some cases Angina can be extremely serious and has been known to cause death. People that suffer from average to severe cases of Angina have an increased percentage of death before the age of 55, usually around 60%.””:..

The blood pressure is the pressure that occurs when the blood is pumped from the heart out into the body. How high the pressure is depends on the amount of power the heart is working with. The blood pressure is too high when the heart is working harder than it should and the blood is pumped through the arteries with a higher pressure than is normal.
